Choose Your Own New Moon Meditation!

New Moon Meditation

One way to intensify your new moon experience during this moon cycle is to create a visualization or meditation moment for yourself wherein you launch yourself into your future when your new moon intention is a dream come true. Take five minutes tonight, tomorrow and the next day to practice living your intention.

Now, in order to create a new reality, you really only need 7 seconds of concentrated positive focus on this dream you want to come true. A few minutes of meditation will give you that 7 seconds of creation over and over again.

But keep in mind that it will work best and happen most easily if you honor the way that works best for you.

(1) Do you need to see it unfold before your eyes in a series of miracle scenes or a silent movie?

(2) Or do you need to hear an inner voice tell you the story of how your dream came true?

(3) Maybe, instead, you just need to feel it happening in your body? The joy, the peace, the rightness of it all when it finally happens?

(4) Or it might be that you are good at just knowing things and that intuitive knowledge comes to you pretty quickly. Even faster than you can set up a meditation scene?

If so, then just relax deeply and have the intention that you will know whatever you need to about the way your intention will manifest.

And whichever way you choose, be sure to take enough time to relax deeply and ground yourself.

Breathe deep into your belly several times before you begin. And when you have completed the new moon meditation, ground yourself again by focusing on the floor beneath your feet, the back of the seat you're sitting in, the sounds in your room and other sensations available.

Let me know how it goes!

Next post: creating a crystal layout as part of your new moon ritual.

See you tomorrow!

  1. How interesting! I like how you make it simple and easy to follow, and not like a chore. I think most people feel that meditation is that way.

Speaking of which, I really need to get back into the habit of doing it more often again. I know I was feeling great when I did it more consistently!

    1. Thanks, Delia!! What has helped me get back to it is telling myself that not every time has to be long and boring. They can be quick and fun, instead! :)
