My Confession: Resistance & What to Do about It

How I Conquered My Own Resistance

This is the absolutely true story about how when the time came to start my new moon work, I did not want to do it. At all. The most apathy I've felt around moon work in years. What happened?

Well, this month's goal is a "go big or go home" kind of thing. Being all in! Going all out. And when the time came, I just couldn't seem to generate any energy around it.

Here's what happened...

Nothing Much Going On

So, it's Tuesday night. And I know that tomorrow, the new moon will be here, ready for my intention for this cycle. Normally, I would feel excited. And I've waited all day for the excitement to hit me.

By now, I would usually have a crystal elixir sitting on the windowsill. Crystals? Meh.

But why? What the heck is going on?

I am sure it is resistance. Some part of me is saying, "this moon wish is too big and too scary! What if you feel? You won't fail if you don't try!"

Oh boy! I've heard that voice before.

Okay, then. That means that what I need to do is create a blend that addresses the fear and resistance. Maybe some letting go crystals, too?

Stay tuned. Later tonight, in part two of this resistance extravaganza, I'll tell you more about how I rescued my own new moon extravaganza!

See you then!

  1. I just realised something reading your blog post. Im scared of the moon. When we had all the quakes often they would be more prevalent around the full moon. There was alot of debate as to whether this was true as we had so many.

    1. How interesting, Kate!! I find the moon SOOOO comforting and soothing. I actually get excited to see it again after its dark. Thanks for visiting and commenting!

  2. Sorry - forgot I had been looking at other blogs - put the wrong signature on LOL!
Popped in from UBC, enjoyed your blog and going to take the Mystic Quiz :)
