Connecting with Your Inner Guide

Connecting with Your Inner Guide

In yesterday's post, I asked how you would want to connect with your inner guide. Let's continue the process of connection today...

Welcoming Your Inner Guide

Imagine, again, that your inner guide is with you. And try this experiment to strengthen your perceived connection…

Know that your energy field expands and contracts but is always there, surrounding you. Stand up and after taking a deep breath or two, imagine that your energy field is wide enough to welcome your inner guide.

Consider that this guide has always been with you but you have had the volume turned off or the screen minimized and that kept you from knowing that your guide was there.

Imagine turning the volume up again or whatever comes to mind so that you can see, hear, feel or sense your guide there with you. Push that meter or lever or volume knob as far as it can go, and then notice what you experience.

Spend as long as you would like experiencing your inner guide’s powerful presence, your guide’s great love for you and the connection you share.

Draw a picture of your inner guide or create a collage that honors and expresses what your inner guide means to you. Add words that describe your connection and the way you feel in his or her presence.

Have a great weekend and I'll see you Monday!

  1. I love the idea of creating a picture of my inner guide. I'd make some great color copies and hang it my by computer, bed, bathroom mirror, etc. I'd ALSO snap a pic for my phone.

I think I'm adding this to my weekend Creativity To-Do list. Thanks!

  2. I've never thought of this inner guide concept before. I think I may just try connecting with my inner guide to gain a better sense of myself.

Thanks so much for coming to visit and sharing your thoughts! Let me know where you are and I'll come say hello at your place next.

By the way, I know that sometimes my readers disagree with what I say here and I wanted to let you know that not only is it okay with me if you happen to as well, but you also are welcome to tell me so, as long as you do so kindly.

Have a great day!
